Thank you for stopping by our corner of the Internet to visit. We are the St. Francis Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order.
We have been active in the Washington area for some time and meet on a regular basis at the Capuchin College. We are always ready to answer questions from people seeking to live the Franciscan lifestyle, so please check back often for our schedule of upcoming events. On our web site you will find summaries of the work being done by our Commissions. Since our Commissions are in the early, formative sessions of their re-emergence, I have posted the Mission Statements prepared by our National Organization. I would suggest that you look them over for an idea of the purpose of their existence.
In addition, I am adding a Prayer Room that will feature some of our favorite prayers and another section on Franciscan Saints. We will also be posting our monthly newsletter, so you can keep up to date on the goings on at our chapter.
As you can see, we have big plans for the future and we are looking forward to making good use of this resource to reach a lot of people on the information superhighway. If you have any suggestions as to how we can make this page more useful for you, I hope you do not hesitate to let us know.
